DBA ACCOMPANIES TITIAN’S MALCHIOSTRO ANNUNCIATION

The exhibition “Tiziano e il Paesaggio. Dal Cadore alla Laguna: la Pala Gozzi e la Sommersione del Faraone” has opened at the Palazzo della Magnifica Comunità di Cadore, on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of the Master’s death.

DBA took part in this project by supporting the temporary transfer of the “Annunciazione Malchiostro,” a painting by Titian preserved in the Malchiostro Chapel of Treviso Cathedral, to the Civic Art Gallery “Francesco Podesti” in Ancona, the institution that made the exhibition possible by lending the renowned Gozzi Altarpiece.

Supporting the mobility of such a significant artwork represents a true act of responsibility toward the cultural heritage of the regions — a concrete way to foster collaboration among institutions and to bring great art closer to new audiences.
