STRENGTHS OF NODO:
- Cost reduction
Increased productivity thanks to the reduction of manual document production activities and greater real-time visibility of processes, from the yard to the back office. - Optimal resource utilization
Greater predictability of train and truck arrivals, enabling advance planning and allocation of operational teams and equipment. - Transparency and control
Full monitoring of critical issues, transport providers’ and rail operators’ quality levels, and optimization opportunities. - Audit and legal compliance
Fully tracked and documented processes, supporting regulatory and compliance requirements. - Interactive platform
Integration with the operational systems of MTOs, Shipping Agents, and Customs Brokers via proprietary or standard protocols (EDIGES, EDIFACT, e-Customs), as well as legacy systems (ERP) and truck and rail gate systems. - Integration and connectivity
Natively integrable with SINFONIST (for managing risk assessment documents, PPE, etc.) and VIVO (energy and environmental monitoring of port systems).

NODO PRODUCTS AND MODULES:
PCS | Port Community System: a software solution that optimizes services for the Port Community, ranging from the management of physical goods inspections to environmental and energy monitoring of the port system.
Key benefits: Terminal and gate inspection visits, document control (import documentation, etc.), ISTAT declarations, Port Tracking module, Environmental Monitoring, Energy Monitoring, and Import/Export management.
I-TOS | Intermodal Terminal Operating System: a software solution for managing intermodal terminals, handling truck entry and exit, loading and unloading of trains (and Ro-Ro vessels), and tracking loading units (UTIs) entering and leaving the terminal, along with their electronic documents. It includes an EDI center module for integration with third parties (freight forwarders, shippers, MTOs, customs, etc.).
Key benefits: Master data management (wagons, trains, terminal areas, drivers, etc.), booking of pickup/storage units, full lifecycle management of cargo units, trip management (ship/train/truck), yard management, high integration (freight forwarders, shippers, MTOs, etc.).
RSS | Rail Shunting System: a complete and integrated software solution for rail shunting operators. It enables real-time management, optimization, and monitoring of all phases related to shunting operations and wagon positioning (uncoupling and coupling) using locomotives within shunting areas, terminals, and stations.
Key benefits: Service request management from connected facilities, support for planning shunting activities, train trip management, execution of shunting operations / crew management, real-time wagon positioning, wagon and locomotive master data.
VBS | Vehicle Booking System: a software solution for managing truck entry and exit reservations at ports, as well as the release and pickup of loading units (containers, rolling stock, and swap bodies) and goods at terminals.
Key benefits: Fleet and driver master data, slot management, access booking, truck pre-notification, high integration (PCS / TOS / GOS / TMS).
EDI Center Module (EDIGES / EDIFACT): this application manages M2M data exchange using standard formats. It uses its own integration language to decouple data sources from structures, forming the application domain of NODO.
DSM Module: the Document System Management module provides document services for application microservices. It offers reusable UI components specifically designed for integration with major market document management systems via public APIs.
KPI Module & Reporting: a transversal plug-in-based module that enables different visualization modes to be selected. It also supports the generation of related reports.
Billing Module: this module manages all activities related to the final invoicing process. Every event/activity can be included in the final bill (e.g., unit dwell time).
