DBA AT THE AZERBAIJAN INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT FORUM IN BAKU
Special economic zones can attract investment and generate growth only when they are connected to logistics infrastructure, value-added production activities and regional supply chains. This was the central theme of the panel “Industrial Platforms and Free Economic Zones: Azerbaijan as a Regional Manufacturing Hub”, held during the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, an event focused on the country's economic and industrial development opportunities.
Among the speakers was Marco Politi, Vice President Sales & Business Development of DBA Group, who shared the experience gained by the Group through its involvement in major infrastructure programmes across the region.
The discussion highlighted how the competitiveness of industrial zones depends on their integration with ports, intermodal terminals, and digital platforms. In this context, DBA, leveraging its established presence in Azerbaijan and the experience gained along the economic and logistics corridors connecting Europe and Asia, offers multidisciplinary expertise to support the development of infrastructure serving production, logistics, and international trade.
