DBA IN THE JOINT VENTURE TEAM SELECTED AS A FINALIST FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE GAM IN TURIN

We participated in the competition for the redevelopment and functional renewal of the GAM – Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Torino as part of the Joint Venture (RTI) composed of ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, DBA, ArtCloud Network International, LAND and Metis Lighting.

DBA was responsible for the integrated engineering services, including the design of structural and MEP systems, construction safety coordination during the design phase (CSP), and technical-economic aspects.

The project stems from the ambition to redefine the relationship between the museum and the city, expanding the ways in which spaces can be experienced while enhancing the value of contemporary artistic heritage. This design approach, built on the integration of diverse expertise, led the team to become one of the competition finalists, with the proposals later presented in a dedicated exhibition inaugurated at the GAM in Turin.
