Can Artificial Intelligence help build a more sustainable future, or does its growing energy demand risk becoming part of the problem?

This question was at the heart of the discussion during the event “The AI Paradox: Computational Power or Real Sustainability?”, promoted by Fondazione ENIA.

During the panel “Artificial Intelligences and Energy”, attention focused on the growing energy demand of data centers, which are essential to the development of Artificial Intelligence. Among the topics discussed was the role of AI in infrastructure management, with particular attention to energy monitoring and system efficiency in support of the energy transition.

The discussions highlighted the importance of supporting technological evolution with a long-term vision capable of combining innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
