DBA AT THE ENERGY INFORMATICS.ACADEMY CONFERENCE 2025

DBA took part in the Energy Informatics.Academy Conference 2025, an international conference dedicated to the digitalization of energy systems and the transition toward sustainable models.

In the presence of academics and industry professionals from around the world, Federico De Bettin presented a scientific contribution developed within the framework of the iNEST Call – Interconnected Nord-Est Innovation Ecosystem, Spoke 3: Green and Digital Transition for Advanced Manufacturing Technology (CUP: G23C22001130006), in collaboration with BClever s.r.l.s. (CUP: G19J24003730004), Omniaevo s.r.l. (CUP: G89J24001350004), and Electric Labs s.r.l. (CUP: G69J24001980004).

The work carried out by DBA (lead partner – CUP: G29J2400252004) introduces a machine learning model for the analysis of quarter-hourly electricity consumption profiles of residential and industrial users, accounting for their inherent uncertainty. The algorithm, validated on thousands of consumers, supports the techno-economic planning of generation and storage systems for prosumers and Renewable Energy Communities (RECs).

The contribution is part of a broader project focused on the probabilistic analysis of renewable energy generation and energy prices, enabling the integration of quantitative estimates of error and risk alongside energy and investment KPIs to support more robust decision-making in the energy transition.
