DBA FEATURED IN IL SOLE 24 ORE’S DATA CENTER GUIDE

The “Data Center Guide” by Scenari de Il Sole 24 Ore has been published, offering an in-depth look at the development of digital infrastructure. DBA contributed to the publication through Sacha Busetti, COO of the MCI & Data Center division, who shared the Group’s perspective on the evolution of the sector.

Among the topics covered is Edge Computing, which helps reduce data processing and access times by bringing computing capacity closer to applications that require real-time responses, such as robotics, autonomous driving and telemedicine.

The article also focuses on the energy challenges facing Data Centers and the search for alternative solutions for power supply and operational continuity. These include the use of hydrogen for power supply and backup, a prospect that still depends on the development of the supply chain and cost reduction.
