FERRARA CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

DBA General Planning, a DBA brand, together with Devi Impianti, has been awarded the design contract for the construction of a new pavilion at the Ferrara Correctional Facility.

The project envisions a nearly zero-energy building (NZEB) accommodating 80 inmates in single cells with private facilities. It also includes shared and worship areas, green spaces for horticulture, exercise yards, a recycling area, and a technical outdoor area.

A project that combines energy efficiency, functional design, and attention to inmates’ well-being.
