GREENPORT CONGRESS & DTF CONFERENCE

DBA participated in the GreenPort Congress & DTF Conference in Malta with two technical contributions, addressing themes of sustainability, innovation, and the future of European ports.

Discussions focused on how European policies — Green Deal and Fit for 55 — are transforming economic incentives into regulatory obligations (AFIR and FuelEU Maritime), promoting emission reduction in the maritime sector and providing investment certainty.

Attention was also given to digitalization and smart port technologies — essential tools for optimizing efficiency, monitoring emissions, and improving reliability, all key to achieving Europe’s 2030 goals.
