RESTORATION WORKS ON THE BOITE STREAM CONTINUE

Restoration works on the check dams and counter-check dams along the Boite stream in Perarolo di Cadore (Belluno) are progressing. These structures play a key role in mitigating hydraulic risk in the area where the Boite joins the Piave River.

The activities are part of the wider programme to improve the safety of the area launched after Storm Vaia in 2018. Work is progressing according to schedule despite temporary suspensions required by the controlled water releases from the Valle di Cadore dam.

DBA is providing Site Operational Management and Construction Safety Coordination during the execution phase, supporting the smooth progress of the works and the effective management of on-site activities. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
