VENETO HOSTS THE ITALIAN STAGE OF THE EUROPEAN REC4SMEs PROJECT
On October 6 and 7, DBA hosted project partners and beneficiaries in Veneto for a new stage of the European REC4SMEs project, funded by the European Union under the Single Market Programme, dedicated to the development of Renewable Energy Communities supporting SMEs.
The first day, hosted by the Municipality of Mogliano Veneto, was dedicated to the Train of Trainers event, providing an opportunity for participants from Italy, Moldova, Slovenia, and Romania to exchange views on the current state of Renewable Energy Communities in their respective countries, share experiences, and discuss the tools developed within the project.
On October 7, activities continued in Venice with the Steering Committee Meeting, where partners reviewed project progress, discussed upcoming activities, and explored experiences and opportunities related to the development of Renewable Energy Communities across the territory.
The two-day event further highlighted the value of collaboration among different skills, territories, and organizations in turning the energy transition into concrete opportunities for SMEs and local communities.
