RETRO COMMISSIONING
Retro-Commissioning (RCx), Ongoing Commissioning (OCx), Continuous Commissioning (CCx) and Re-Commissioning (Re-Cx) services are specifically focused on the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) phase of data center facilities
Retro-Commissioning (RCx), Ongoing Commissioning (OCx), Continuous Commissioning (CCx) and Re-Commissioning (Re-Cx) services are specifically focused on the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) phase of data center facilities. Their purpose is to verify, restore, and optimize the actual performance of critical systems, ensuring their continuous alignment with contractual requirements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and defined resilience and availability criteria. These services help ensure that the infrastructure continues to operate at the expected level throughout its lifecycle, even in the face of degradation, operational changes, or variations in IT load.
Retro-Commissioning (RCx) and Re-Commissioning (Re-Cx) processes form the methodological foundation of these activities and focus on a systematic evaluation of the mechanical, electrical, and control systems of the data center. This evaluation includes the review of sequences of operation, maintenance procedures, failure modes, redundancy configurations, and incident recovery strategies. Through functional testing and detailed analysis of operational data, deviations that could compromise service continuity, SLA compliance, or asset performance are identified. The results obtained serve as the starting point for OCx and CCx activities, which aim to continuously maintain and enhance the efficiency, reliability, and operational capacity of the data center.
