SAN CATALDO PIER IN BARI: EXPANSION WORKS CONTINUE IN THE PORT

Expansion works are currently underway at San Cataldo Pier in Bari for the development of new infrastructure serving the logistics headquarters of the Italian Coast Guard. The project, overseen by S.J.S. Engineering, a DBA Group company, will help strengthen the strategic role of the Port of Bari within the logistics system of the Southern Adriatic.

The project includes the construction of new berths for Offshore Multi-Role Vessels, an operational yard of approximately 42,500 m², cold ironing facilities, water management systems, and seabed upgrading works. These interventions are designed to enhance Coast Guard operations and improve the efficiency of port infrastructure.

S.J.S. Engineering is part of the Temporary Consortium of Professionals responsible for the detailed design phase, providing specialized expertise in the design of complex maritime infrastructure.
