The SIOT Marine Terminal is in the Muggia’s Bay in the Gulf of Trieste. An average annual traffic of about 500 oil tankers and an activity of over 50 years, makes the SIOT Marine Terminal a great strategic importance facility with an absolute centrality role in the European energy landscape. 

The design activities have aimed at identifying the most appropriate engineering solution to restore the original berthing capability off the SIOT pier.
