Port of Brindisi: Reinforcement of Admiral Millo sailor’s monument and Channel Pigonati
Client: Brindisi Port Authority
The project is divided in two phases:
- I LOT: Reinforcement of Admiral Millo wharf;
- II LOT: Special maintenance and reinforcement of wharfs nearby Sailors‘ Monument and of Channel Pigonati.
They concern:
- The restoration, consolidation, and operational rehabilitation of the existing quay inside the historical inner port of Brindisi;
- The Retaining works and structural repairs in order to increase the safety of the quay wall structures;
- The design of local stone pavement restoration;
- The Harbour functional installation (bollards, fenders);
- The public lighting and other urban equipment.
The Works Management involved both lots, for the works and for the static tests, completed in December 2016, and the technical administrative tests, completed on 1st June 2017.
